Three Degrees Networks Private Limited ("Three Degrees," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Three Degrees mobile application and related web services (collectively, the "Service"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.
By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or otherwise using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Three Degrees Networks Private Limited and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplemental policies we publish, constitute the entire agreement between you and Three Degrees Networks Private Limited regarding the Service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You may not use the Service if you have been previously suspended or permanently banned, if you are prohibited by law from using the Service, or if doing so would violate any applicable law or regulation.
If you believe a user is under 18, report them through in-app tools or contact us. We may suspend or remove accounts that appear to belong to minors.
2. The Service
Three Degrees is a social platform that helps adults discover friends, friends-of-friends, and trusted networks, and coordinate real-world activities such as events, hangouts, sports, and social plans.
We are a technology platform only. Similar to how ride-hailing or ticketing platforms connect users without providing the underlying offline service themselves, we do not employ, supervise, endorse, vet, or guarantee any user, event organizer, venue, host, or third party you interact with through the Service. We do not organize, host, operate, insure, or control offline events, hangouts, meetings, or activities arranged through the Service.
We do not guarantee that any connection, recommendation, event, or meeting will result in a positive, safe, or successful outcome. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Your account and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Use a strong, unique password and do not share it with anyone. If you share your password or device access with others, you are responsible for their actions on your account.
Notify us immediately at support@threedegreesnetworks.com if you believe your account has been compromised. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability arising from your failure to keep your account secure.
You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep your profile up to date. You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or age, create multiple accounts to evade enforcement, or use an account registered in another person's name without authorization.
4. Your responsibilities
When using the Service, you agree that you will:
- comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws;
- treat other users with respect and use the Service responsibly;
- obtain any required consent before uploading or sharing another person's contact details or personal information;
- provide verifiably authentic information when submitting reports or requests;
- not file false, frivolous, or bad-faith complaints or grievances; and
- exercise independent judgment about the safety and suitability of people, venues, and activities you engage with through the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, discriminate against, or harm another person;
- post or share content that is illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
- use the Service for spam, scams, fraud, or unauthorized commercial solicitation;
- collect, scrape, or misuse user data without permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- interfere with the security, integrity, or operation of the Service;
- upload another person's contact details without required consent; or
- use the Service in any way that could damage Three Degrees or other users.
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we deem appropriate, including warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent account termination, with or without notice where permitted by law.
6. User content and sharing
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as posts, photos, messages, reviews, event listings, and profile information), but you grant Three Degrees Networks Private Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, moderate, and use your content as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Service.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your content and that your content does not violate these Terms or any third-party rights.
Other users may see content you share according to your settings and the nature of the feature (for example, public posts, event RSVPs, or messages to connections). If you choose to share another member's profile or information outside the Service, you do so at your own risk and responsibility.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content, including reviews, testimonials, posts, or messages, or for inaccurate or incomplete information provided by users.
7. Events, hangouts, and offline activities
The Service may help users discover, create, or join real-world events, hangouts, and plans. Any offline meeting or activity is solely between the participants. Three Degrees Networks Private Limited is not a party to those interactions and does not vet venues, hosts, attendees, or the safety of any gathering.
Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your decisions to meet other users or attend activities. You should exercise caution, meet in public where appropriate, inform someone you trust of your plans, follow venue rules, and comply with local laws.
Incidents and harm. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Three Degrees Networks Private Limited is not liable for any accident, injury, illness, property damage, theft, loss, harassment, fight, assault, misconduct, criminal act, death, or other harm arising from or related to offline activities arranged, discussed, or promoted through the Service, whether between users or involving third parties (including venues, organizers, or bystanders).
If an incident occurs, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first where appropriate. You may also report the matter to us at support@threedegreesnetworks.com. We may preserve and use relevant account, message, event, location, and report data to investigate complaints, enforce our terms, protect other users, comply with legal obligations, and cooperate with authorities. We are not obligated to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes between users.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree not to bring claims against us solely because we disclosed information in good faith to law enforcement, regulators, insurers, or other authorities in connection with an incident or investigation.
8. Safety, moderation, and enforcement
User safety is important to us. We use a combination of automated systems and human review to help detect abuse, fraud, spam, and policy violations in accounts, profiles, posts, messages, and event listings. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts where we believe there is a violation or safety risk.
If you submit a report about another user, we may take action we deem appropriate. We are not obligated to inform you of the outcome, but we may do so where appropriate. Submitting a report does not guarantee that we will remove content or ban a user.
If your account is restricted or banned, you may contact us to request review. We are not obligated to reinstate your account. Users who are banned for serious violations (such as fraud, harassment, or threats) may be prevented from creating new accounts. We may retain information necessary to enforce bans and protect the Service.
We are not obligated to monitor all activity on the Service and do not guarantee that harmful conduct will be detected, prevented, or removed in every case.
9. Third-party services and integrations
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as social login, maps, analytics, or payment providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, venues, event organizers, sponsors, or other users.
Any information you provide directly to a third party, or that a third party collects through an integrated feature, is subject to that party's practices. Review their policies before use.
10. Communications
By using the Service, you may receive transactional and service-related communications (such as security alerts, account notices, and connection or event notifications). You can manage some communication preferences in the app or device settings.
Where you separately opt in to marketing communications, you may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe method provided or by contacting us.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including our branding, software, design, and content we provide (other than user content), is owned by Three Degrees Networks Private Limited or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at support@threedegreesnetworks.com.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any user, connection, event, venue, or activity will be safe, suitable, lawful, or successful.
No advice or information obtained through the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THREE DEGREES NETWORKS PRIVATE LIMITED AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, ANY USER CONTENT, ANY OFFLINE ACTIVITY, OR ANY CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS OR THIRD PARTIES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Three Degrees Networks Private Limited, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content; (c) your offline conduct or participation in events or activities; (d) your violation of these Terms; (e) your violation of any third-party rights; or (f) information you provide about third parties without required consent.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account where available in the app or as described in our account deletion resources.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we believe you violated these Terms, pose a safety risk, or if required by law. Termination does not limit our right to retain information as described in our Privacy Policy (including for safety, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance).
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and governing law) will survive.
16. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
Subject to applicable law, courts in Mumbai, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by law.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@threedegreesnetworks.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
17. General provisions
No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and Three Degrees Networks Private Limited.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, internet outages, or government actions).
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the app, by email, or by other appropriate means. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where further consent is required by law.
